Prisoner of Azkaban is my least favorite movie along with Order of the Phoenix and so far definitely my least favorite out of the books (okay, I’m only three in, but still). So, sorry J.K., but I’m gonna give this one three stars, because I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as the first two and I don’t just wanna give them all 5 stars because hey, it’s Harry Potter and you ought to for decorum…

I don’t like Snape as much in the books as I do in the movies (actually, quite disliked him in this book, which was unpleasant because I love Alan Rickman’s portrayal of him and now that’s kind of tainted) but I do like Lupin a whole lot better. In general though, I’m not too fond of the Sirius Black storyline, which is a big part of this book.  So yeah, not my fave in the series!
